West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) for admission to undergraduate courses of engineering, technology and architecture in Universities, Government Colleges as well as Self Financing Engineering & Technological Institutes in the State of West Bengal.

You must be at least 17 years of age as on 31 December of the year of exam for Engineering / Technology courses. There is no upper age limit.
Candidates seeking admission to Government engineering/technology colleges, reserve category seats of any institution, including TFW category seats must be domicile of West Bengal. They must have passed higher secondary (10+2) examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a recognized council/board.
The exam is conducted in offline mode (OMR based examination). You have to appear for two papers:
- Paper-I: Mathematics
- Paper-II: Physics & Chemistry (combined)
All the questions in each paper are of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type, with four options against each of the questions. There are three categories of questions in each of the subjects.
