KEAM (Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical Entrance Exam) is conducted by Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala for admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes across various government colleges, government sponsored self-financing colleges and private self-financing colleges in the state of Kerala.

  • Start Date for Applications: 1 February, 2018
  • Last Date to Apply: 28 February, 2018
  • Physics & Chemistry Exam: 23 April, 2018
  • Mathematics Exam: 24 April, 2018

Eligibility Criteria

You should have completed 17 years of age as on 31 December of the year of exam. No relaxation in the minimum age is allowed. There is no upper age limit for KEAM.

Candidates, who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together, are eligible.

Selection Procedure

You are selected on the basis of merit marks obtained in KEAM and the marks obtained in class XII or equivalent in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in the ratio of 50:50.

Exam Pattern

There are two papers -Paper I (Physics & Chemistry) and Paper II (Mathematics). Each paper consists of 120 questions of total of 480 marks.

All questions are of multiple choice type. Each correct answer is of four marks and for every incorrect answer, one mark is deducted from the total score. Each paper is of two and a half hour duration.
