JEE Advanced 2013 was held on 2nd June, 2013 (Sunday). Around 1.25 lakh students who qualified the JEE Mains 2013 (which was held on 7th April 2013) appeared for the exam. The paper was conducted in 2 parts - Paper 1 was conducted from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and Paper 2 was conducted from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The JEE Advanced exam was conducted in 95 cities across India and one overseas centre at UAE.

JEE Advanced 2013 Paper-I Analysis

This paper had some surprises as compared to last year. The questions with single-choice correct had no negative marking. The questions with more than one correct choice and the integer type questions had negative marking. The paper was of 180 marks and each subject (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) was of 60 marks.

JEE Advanced 2013 Paper-II Analysis

This paper was was also full of unexpected changes. The marking scheme has been changed this year. The paper was of 180 marks and each subject was of 60 marks.
